Score Reporting Process

The scoring process cannot be expedited in any way. Regardless of circumstances, the scores for the ACT exams cannot be tallied and made available to students sooner than three weeks. Only students with valid student ACT online accounts can check their scores online; all other students will have to wait for their score reports to arrive in the mail.

However, students can order expedited reporting for their scores. By choosing this option, students can have their score reports delivered to the schools of their choice within three to five business days of the request being processed. There is an additional fee that students must pay for this service, depending on when the testing was completed.

Students should be aware that once a request for priority reporting has been submitted to ACT, it cannot be cancelled or changed. Also, priority reports include only the basic scoring information, not the career planning or additional information that the regular ACT scoring report contains. However, schools that receive priority reports will receive the full regular report during the normal reporting period for the ACT exams, which includes all the supplemental information on career planning and student vocational interests.
